I am a Minnesota-based portrait artist specializing in large format oil-on-canvas. My children are my heart and my world. It has been so encouraging to show them how being a professional artist can bring joy to others as well as support our family. I began painting as a child, and fell in love with oil-on-canvas at an early age and consider it the noblest medium. I work between a very busy commission calendar as well as interior design consulting. My heart truly relates to my subject as one human being to another. I am painting their thoughts and their emotions as waves of color and light.
